In 2023, the iconic Bondi Pavilion, will play home to Sydney’s favourite foodie festival, Taste in the City. A true celebration of great food, wine and entertainment, Taste in the City will come alive on Saturday the 2rd and Sunday the 3rd of September. Year after year, Taste in the City draws crowds in the thousands who are seeking out the best Sydney and New South Wales has to offer in restaurants, food, wineries, craft beer and so much more. It truly is the foodie event of the year!
Why Taste In The City?
With a brand awareness that dates back to 2013, our festival is well-known and respected amongst the Sydney and NSW community. We partner with businesses, stall holders and entertainment providers that we know will resonate with our target audiences.
Our unique timing over the Father’s Day weekend sees many looking for something fun and relaxing that is suitable for the whole family. We want to provide that perfect family experience, where everyone can enjoy the weekend.
We deliver a strong, 3-month awareness campaign in the lead up to the festival. We focus our efforts across paid marketing, earned media content, as well as maximising our own marketing channels.
Taste in the City has been built on a community who loves good food and wine, and everything that comes with it. We are a trusted and engaged festival within Sydney and the areas surrounding this magnificent city.

We have been attending Taste in the City since the event started. Despite Peterson Wines being an established brand, we feel the event is a good fit for our business and continue to see new customers engaged with our business year after year of attending the event. Many of our wine cellar members will also attend the event, which gives them a touch point with our brand, even when they don’t visit our premises. More than that, events like Taste in the City allow us to introduce our wines to new Peterson wine lovers too!
